The tend to have a more Technocratic, Thalassocratic, and Genetocratic Corporations, where engineers and scientist often wield much of the power. Theysupplied much of the GF's warpdrive, and teleportation technology and often partake in genome splicing and genetic engineering rather than implant and cybernetic augmentation like others. To them, why add technology to a living being to improve it, when you could create the being perfect to begin with. Foresee the problem rather than combat it.

I've always wanted to see a gun using a multistage propellant system, i.e. both a 'normal' powder charge and a gauss or rail system in the barrel for extra muzzle velocity. And if you're killing non-humans that means the Geneva convention is moot, so incendiary, explosive, and hollow point rounds would be expected. The suit would also likely need to prove basic target assistance, a rough calculation of how far a sniper round would drop or the arc of a grenade.

Also I'd advise adding EM shielding into the fluff, because the way current microwave weapons are shaping up having a cheap grunt frying the suits electronics would be a major concern. I've also seen something on an irl electrical weapon that passed a bolt of electricity through vehicles to fry their computers and stall them.

And back to Geneva, remember to add something to the suit indicating the nationality of the users, not sure of all the conventions rules on military uniforms but that was one.
