In a car? I don't think so but I can't be sure. The needle in a carburettor might work, if it's a hellza old car, or some small internal component from a fuel injector (more likely from a diesel injector, since they'll be narrow as HELL due to the pressure and requirement to mist). I doubt they'll be long enough for you though.

The other problem is to do with them being bendable. A pipe with an external diameter of 2mm is not going to be something you can bend by yourself whilst keeping an even internal diameter, and the likelihood is absolute enormous that you'll end up effectively closing the tube at some point. A bent tube that narrow is going to have to be a custom made job, I think.

Could you have a very short 2mm tube for about 10mm, and then step it up with a longer, wider tube to bridge the distance, and then step it down again to a short 2mm tube at the end? Weld the bits together to seal them (depending on the temperature you need them to withstand). I mean, it does depend on a lot of things, the flow rate required, the pressure, the amount of the fluid or air you are moving, etc, but that would be my best suggestion for now.

The term you need for searching for this stuff is "caplillary tube", though I think it's going to be really hard to get the length you need.

Help me brainstorm: Where can I find some really thin, copper or stainless steel pipe, and I mean like, 2mm (.08") outside diameter at most. Inside diameter isn't real important. I need a piece about 3"-6" long.

I was thinking of the little tubes on the back of a fridge, but for some reason I thought that only the large pipes were hollow, and the real thin ones are solid heat-sinks, also I don't know anyone that would let me pull pieces off their fridge.

I suspect that the guy arguing with Actual (or, more accurately, arguing with nothing) is the same guy from /docta/ who started that thread about wanting to fix his relationship with his girlfriend's friend that he ruined by pressuring them into a threesome. Anyway, long story short, he disregarded all of the advice and chose to nitpick and argue and claim people were attacking him while never once even acknowledging the actual advice, instead just picking some little detail to fight over and throwing it out like a red herring to distract from the fact that he was trying very very hard to play the victim.

That was a complicated sentence.

Anyway, the attitude, the tactics, etc, is all very similar so I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same guy.
